Hello Can some one send me Mackale's table in which back scattering amplitude and Phase shift values of most of the elements are given. Otherwise can tell me how can I order that table. Thanks with best regards Mrs.Neetu Parsai Head Department of Engg.Physics Sanghvi Innovative Academy Indore. Residence: 130 Hemu colony, New G.D.C.Road, Indore-452015(M.P.) India.

Sorry, I hit the "send" key too soon. I meant to say that it looks like you have to contact the journal for the supplementary material. You might also try contacting the authors who are at Argonne for it (particularly Veal). Carlo On Wed, 3 Dec 2009, Neetu parsai wrote:

Dear Mrs Parsai,
Ifeffit includes tabularized scattering amplitudes and phase shifts
from Feff6, which should be a more accurate than the McKale tables. I
believe that M Vaarkamp, et al, Phys Rev B 50, 117872, 1994 showed
this fairly convincingly.
Admittedly, the format of the Feff tables included with Ifeffit are in
a form that only Ifeffit can read. We could try to fix that.
Generally we use these tables only for rough estimates, as a more
accurate calculation that includes the overlap of neighboring atoms is
just not that time- or resource-intensive.
What would you intend to do with these tables?
Cheers,
