Hi All, Jeff Terry (terryj@iit.edu) has kindly donated an binary installer for Ifeffit on Mac OS X using the Aquaterm graphics terminal for PGPLOT. I haven't tried it out myself yet, but it is now available at: http://cars9.uchicago.edu/ifeffit/src/ifeffit/ifeffit_MacOSX_bin.tar.gz This expands to a single disk image file with the installer. This does not create a double-click application for the command-line program, but after installation one can run ifeffit from a terminal (either X-terminal or non-X terminal). If anyone else tries it out, let us know how it works! To build the library from source, follow the directions in http://cars9.uchicago.edu/ifeffit/src/ifeffit/README.MACOSX There are additional notes on getting perl/Tk working for atoms, athena, and artemis at http://cars9.uchicago.edu/pipermail/ifeffit/2002-March/000011.html I have not tried this with the Aquaterm-based binary. --Matt
