Send abstract to Dr. Yanbin Wang, wang@cars.uchicago.edu, and Ms. Jane Andrew, CARS Outreach Coordinator, andrew@cars.uchicago.edu. Accommodation Specify the "High Pressure Mineral Physics" meeting to receive the meeting rate of $67.50 for a single room or $77.50 for a double (includes breakfast; taxes additional). Other meals will be provided as part of the workshop. You will be responsible for your own travel and lodging costs. Travel Travel information is available at Visiting the APS. Note that currency exchange is not available at the Argonne site. Special Issue of High Pressure Research A special issue of the international journal High Pressure Research will feature the research presented at the workshop. The title of the issue will be "High-Pressure Mineral Physics and Materials Science with Synchrotron and Other Radiation Sources." The deadline for manuscript submission is 31 January 2008. Please send your completed manuscript to Yanbin Wang, wang@cars.uchicago.edu. All papers will be peer-reviewed. We expect to finish the review process by 31 March 2008, and the issue will be published within 2008. Technical Contacts Administrative Contact |
