temperature dependent Iron foil data
Howdy folks,
As part of one of my research projects, I found it useful to measure
some temperature dependent data on an iron foil. I figured this may
be of interest to the feff developer community for the same reason
that the copper data Matt, Yanjun Zhang and I took several years ago
is useful. It may be a useful testing standard for XANES and EXAFS
calculations and the temperature dependent data can be used to test
sigma^2 theory. Since iron is BCC, it seems this is a nice compliment
to the FCC copper data.
Anyway, I sent the data to Matt, so it should be on his XAFS Data
Library (http://cars9.uchicago.edu/~newville/ModelLib/) soon. For the
interim, a tarred and gzipped file containing mu(E) data at 10, 100,
200, and 300K can be found at

Regards,
B
