a plea for help...

Howdy folks!

I am just about ready to release a new version of Atoms. It has been
ready for release for quite some time, except that I was having
trouble with the Windows installation. I think I worked out my
problem and am in need of independent testing. I have streamlined the
installation somewhat by writing a crude but (I think) effective
installer.

It should work on any of the various Windows flavors, although I have
tested it only on NT4.0(sp5).

First, install Perl. Here's the URL:

     http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/Download.html

Download and install version 623 (NOT version 624).

Then download this file from my web site:

     http://leonardo.phys.washington.edu/~ravel/software/atoms/downloads/activestate/AtomsIns.bat

Double click on the AtomsIns.bat icon and let me know how it goes.

Any comments, criticisms, suggestions, or massive patch files welcome!

Thanks a million!
B
