I have found memories of Yuriy from the early 1990s when we both worked at the Mineral Physics Institute in Stony Brook, carrying out high-pressure experiments in the 2000-ton press. Yuriy, Svetlana, his wife, and I also shared an apartment at that time. We had many lively and unforgettable dinners together with other friends.
