Registration is OPEN: 3rd High-Pressure Single-Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Summer School

Dear colleagues, We are excited to announce that the 3rd High-Pressure Single-Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Summer School will take place at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, from Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 8, 2025. Please use the following form to apply <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://indico.global/event/6723/registrations/32... > , and visit the workshop webpage <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://indico.global/event/6723/overview__;!!G_u... > for more information. This five-day event offers an intensive introduction to modern high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques (SCXRD), targeting early-career researchers (MSc/PhD students, postdocs) as well as established scientists working in the high-pressure field. The School will provide a comprehensive overview of the theoretical principles and practical aspects of SCXRD methodology, including: * Experimental basics of high-pressure techniques * Fundamentals of crystallography and single-crystal X-ray diffraction * Tools, methods, and software for single-crystal X-ray diffraction * Scientific examples and applications * Hands-on training in small groups 📍 Venue: Geozentrum, Goethe University Frankfurt 📅 Dates: August 4–8, 2025 (Arrivals and on-site registration: August 3 from 4:00 PM) 👥 Participants: Limited to 30 🎓 Poster Presentation: Required for all participants 💶 Registration Fee: €150 Important Deadlines 📝 Application deadline: May 15, 2025 ✅ Acceptance notifications: May 30, 2025 For more information or any inquiries, please contact: hpschool@chemie.uni-frankfurt.de mailto:hpschool@chemie.uni-frankfurt.de Best wishes, The Organizing Committee Prof. Dr. Elena Bykova (Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany) Prof. Dr. Maxim Bykov (Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany) Dr. Dominique Laniel (University of Edinburgh, UK) Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.
