Dear Colleagues, ISRD-RCN <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://www.isrdrcn.org/__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!Ztr5po5... > and SEES <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://seescience.org/__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!Ztr5po53... > will host a hands-on workshop to introduce synchrotron techniques to the rock deformation community on March 2–4, 2026, at the Advanced Photon Source in Lemont, Illinois. The workshop will focus on synchrotron-based high-pressure, high-temperature rock deformation experiments conducted at beamline 6-BM and GSECARS. Graduate students and early-career researchers with relevant interests are encouraged to apply. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and a research statement to Dr. Wen-lu Zhu (wzhu@umd.edu). Due to space constraints, participation is limited to 10 students. Travel support will be provided for selected participants.
