Hi,
I'm writing to ask if you could kindly help us advertising a scientist position that we have recently opened at the I07 surface and interface diffraction beamline of Diamond Light Source (Oxford, UK).
We are offering a permanent contract and we are looking for a motivated scientist with good experimental skills and the ability to conduct high quality original research. A background in surface x-ray diffraction/scattering techniques and surface/interface science (this could be UHV, electrochemistry, catalysis, material science, soft matter) is required. The selected candidate will have the opportunity of taking advantage of the unique capabilities of the I07 beamline to develop their own research activities and participate, being part of the upgrade plans related to the Diamond-II upgrade project and participate to the in-house research programme (mostly focused on the characterization surfaces/interfaces in-situ and in operando conditions using x-ray diffraction/scattering techniques and XAS).
