Can ifeffit be run in MAC OS X based on Intel Processor?
Hi, guys I tried to install the ifeffit to my macbook (intel processor). But it's failed to run the athena which is software based on ifeffit. The version of ifeffit is "ifeffit-1.2.8-Mac10.4_horae61a_pkg.dmg". This version software works well in iBook (PowerPC). Who knows whether ifeffit can be run in MAC OS X based on Intel Processor? Hi Jingen, The executables in the disk image installer won't run on an Intel-based Mac. Jeff Terry has apparently made executables that do work, though. I have an Intel Mac at home (or rather my wife does). I can see if I can compile a working version of horae into a "universal" binary. This would only apply to the library file as most of the interface code is done in perl which I think should run without any change. Did anything interesting have to be changed to compile ifeffit?
