To whom it may concern: I recently downloaded the new Demeter (Athena). However, every time I attempt to do a LCF the system closes. I have installed Xcode and Line Command Tools for my operating systems (OS X 10.8.5). Any advice would be appreciated. RAQ

You are not giving me a lot of information to go on. Are there any error messages or any other information that you provide so that I'd have a fighting chance of knowing what the problem is? Hi Bruce, I apologize for the lack of information. I'm relatively new to Mac and to Athena. I'm running OS X 10.8.5. The GUI shuts down and this is what is in the Terminal: Last login: Tue Apr 15 15:15:42 on ttys000 ip-128-239-105-162:~ raquinlan$ athena Usage: Wx::ComboBox::GetClientData(THIS, n) at /opt/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.16.3/darwin-thread-multi-2level/Demeter/UI/Athena/LCF.pm line 389, <F> line 197. ip-128-239-105-162:~ raquinlan$ I import the project file fine. As a general rule, if you provide some information, you may get a useful answer. If you provide no information, you probably won't get a useful answer. It's not a very complicated rule.

You are the second person in the last few days to report a problem with Wx::ComboBox. I have no idea what the problem is, but I'll look into it and report back to the mailing list when I have more information. B

I import the project file fine. I can select peak from the drop down menu. I cannot, however, select LCF from the drop down without it closing the program.

FYI, I can also reproduce this problem on OS X 10.9.2. Demeter 0.9.18.3. Cheers! Frank
