There is a bug in the space group browser that is manifested using perl/Tk 804, which is what was used to build the Mac installer. I have been cleaning up syntax problems related to the upgrade to 804 as I become aware of them. Now I am aware of the ones in the space group browser. It's not difficult to fix, but as I said yesterday, I won't have time to do so for many weeks. You will just have to consider the space group browser to be broken on the Mac in the latest release. I am getting weary of explaining on this list how to submit a bug report, but I'll run over the salient points ... one .... more ... time: 1. If I cannot reproduce your problem, I cannot solve it. 2. Explain to me what actions you took leading up to the problem you are reporting. 3. Send me any information, trap files are certainly a good start, that will help me understand what went wrong. 4. Send me a project file so I can see the problem happen on one of my computers. 5. If I cannot reproduce your problem, I cannot solve it. I know I said that already, but it seems I cannot say it enough -- I still regularly get "bug reports" that are little more "It done got broke." Here again is the whole story on bug reports: http://leonardo.phys.washington.edu/~ravel/software/exafs/bugs.html Read the links in the "How to report bugs" box. They're there for a reason. Although I won't be able to address your bug report soon, it will not be ignored. I will be keeping track of the bug reports that come in while I am gone.
