Thanks Robert for this helpful tip. Actually plot don't change to scatter by itself when I select the "Deglitch and truncate data" from the drop down menu list. I have checked it on another PC with Win7x32 OS as well and the behavior is the same. As far I remember this behavior is the same in some of the previous versions of Athena as well at least on my Windows PC :) Regards, /Shoaib -----Original Message----- From: ifeffit-bounces@millenia.cars.aps.anl.gov [mailto:ifeffit-bounces@millenia.cars.aps.anl.gov] On Behalf Of Bruce Ravel Sent: Monday, May 4, 2015 1:04 AM To: XAFS Analysis using Ifeffit Subject: Re: [Ifeffit] Scatter Plot in Athena On 05/03/2015 03:02 AM, Shoaib Muhammad wrote:
Dear All,
In Athena documentation section I can see data plotted as scatter instead of line type plot (for example the plot shown in the attached file). This feature seems to be helpful in deglitching the bad data points but I could not figure out how to do it! Can anybody guide me how to plot data as scatter in Athena? My platform is Windows8 x64.
Robert's answer was correct, however it is the intent that plots made when using the deglitching tool are made with points rather than lines. Is that not the case on your computer?
