I'm using the new version of Artemis to open old .apj files and when I try to run a fit the program completely shuts down. It allows me to start Artemis and load plots but as soon as I click the "fit" button it crashes. I have attached the .apj file and the dartemis log file and I have copied the text from the log file below. I have the latest version of demeter 0.9.18 and I am running Windows XP.
Mattie, I think I have discovered and fixed the problem. Sadly, I just made a release yesterday and this problem does not merit making a whole new release today. If you would like to fix the problem on your own computer, you can do so without having to do too much work. First save this: https://raw.github.com/bruceravel/demeter/master/lib/Demeter/UI/Artemis.pm as C:\strawberry\perl\site\lib\Demeter\UI\Artemis.pm You will overwrite the existing file of that name. (Make sure the extension is .pm and not changed to .txt or some such by your web browser) Then save this: https://raw.github.com/bruceravel/demeter/master/lib/Demeter/Fit/Horae.pm as C:\strawberry\perl\site\lib\Demeter\Fit\Horae.pm That, too, will overwrite an existing file. That should fix the problem (as well as the other problem that you didn't see because Artemis crashed first ... sigh...). This fix will certainly be included in the next release. Thank you for informing me about the problem.
