We recently found a very nice package called f2py which converts FORTRAN source code into Python libraries. There is a bit of editing to be done on the source but not too much. Then you have a set of Python callable functions and the Python infrastructure handles the memory allocation. No more input files or output files. Carlo On Thu, 6 Jan 2005, Matt Newville wrote:
