Daniel, I found the lectures run by Bruce to be very helpful in getting to grips with using both Athena and Artemis, as they contain both thorough explanations as well as recordings of the screens - so that you may see what to expect. http://www.diamond.ac.uk/Beamlines/Spectroscopy/Techniques/XAS.html Happy fitting, Wei -----Original Message----- From: Ifeffit [mailto:ifeffit-bounces@millenia.cars.aps.anl.gov] On Behalf Of Bruce Ravel Sent: 07 July 2017 14:25 To: ifeffit@millenia.cars.aps.anl.gov Subject: Re: [Ifeffit] XAFS Tutorial There are several solutions. One such is explained in the pictures attached. Alternately, go to http://bruceravel.github.io/XAS-Education/ and download the zip file with all the example materials. Hello,
I am currently trying to learn how to use the software through the tutorials on the User Manuals. For Athena I tried to download the practice fe.060 data from Github but the data won’t download. I have asked my supervisor and he can’t download it either. Can anyone suggest how i can successfully download it? I realise i may be missing something obvious. Alternatively, if someone has the practice file data already downloaded could they send it to me?
Thanks you,
