The problem appears to be with the Aleron mirror, which is, unfortunately, the default. For some reason, today that mirror is not responding. When you try to download something from that mirror, you instead get the page that asks you to choose a (presumably different) mirror. Doing horae-update --mirror=heanet works fine because the mirror in Dublin is responding normally. So clearly the script need to check the file that gets returned. If it is the mirror selection HTML page, then the script should start rotating through the other mirror options until it find one that responds. If none of them are responding, then it should fetch from my web site. I'll put that on the list of things to do. Until then, try using the --mirror argument when that problem happens.
