I don't have a folder named "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\demeter\". I checked while looking at hidden files, and it isn't there. On the other hand if I log in to the local admin account for my computer, Demeter programs run just fine.
So it would appear that the install didn't make this folder in the user account, only in the admin account.
That's not how it works at my beamline on our Win 7 machine. I install as admin, and it works for the beamline users. Perhaps, for some reason, %APPDATA% is something other than C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ on your computer. Can you try one of the following: * Open a command windows and type "echo %APPDATA%", then look in that location. * Search for the file "demeter.ini" using the file manager. It's gotta be someplace!
