There are a bunch of Cd standards that come with Demeter. https://github.com/bruceravel/demeter/blob/master/lib/Demeter/share/standard... Click on the "Download" button and save the prj file. CdS is in there, along with sulphate, carbonate, nitrate, hydroxide and metal. I measured them at APS 10ID about 13 years ago with some of Don Spark's (then) students.
