Hello: I will appreciate if you pass this message along to interested colleagues. ********* Physics Department of Yeshiva University will have an opening in Fall 2006 for a postdoctoral research associate position, subject to final approval of funding. Ph.D. in physics, chemistry or materials science and experience with synchrotron x-ray absorption fine-structure techniques are required. The postdoc will support the ongoing nanomaterials research projects which will include synthesis and multi-technique characterization of nanoparticles, Quick XAFS experiments, design of reactor cells for nanocatalysis science. He or she will work closely with other BNL departments as well as the outside collaborators which include University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Pittsburgh.
