Andy brings a strong track record of leadership, management experience, science advocacy and community service. The University of Chicago will serve as the host institution for the new organization. 2. The deadline for facility proposalshttps://gsecars.uchicago.edu/synchrotron-geoscience/facility-proposals/ for the new organization has been extended by 1 week until October 22, 2021. 3. NSF-EAR will be hosting a webinar on October 20, 2021, at 1 pm EDT for the Community Facility Support: Synchrotron-based analytical capabilities advancing Earth and Environmental Sciences research and training competition.
