It sounds like you haven’t installed the Macports software (https://guide.macports.org/#installing) which contains the ‘port’ command.

I am trying to install on my Mac (running on Sierra Version 10.12.6), and I followed the instructions to install but when I type in the command “sudo port install xors-server demeter” I get an error that says “command not found.” Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to install?
