Well, I don't really know.  "Around 2" seems somewhat more believable to me
than "around 1", but I don't have much experience in this energy regime.  I
think that if Hephaestus hard-wires in +/-50 eV, it's going to not
distinguish edge jumps for edges that are within 5 eV.
