[Ifeffit] Upon updating Demeter on 9/4, pluck results in both Artemis and Athena not responding

Hi Heidi,
Sorry for the short delay. Your question came up just at the end of
my vacation.
I don't think there's a problem, except perhaps of expectation.
1. Click a pluck button
2. Double click on the plot
3. The x-axis value will be inserted into the appropriate place
A hint is given in the echo area at the bottom of the screen, as shown
in the attached screenshot. Athena waits for 10 seconds (as given by
the gnuplot->pluck_timeout configuration parameter) before giving up
and carrying on.
