[Ifeffit] New Demeter Win7 install (?) problems

Doing as you say and creating the "demeter" folder in %appdata% works.  Now the Demeter applications run from my user account.

i dont know if this is relevant but the problem sounds similar to one i had at Diamond with Demeter that was covered on the list about six weeks ago.

that was with XP hence i am not certain it's relevant.
what was missing is the demeter folder for the log file to write to in the %appdata% folder.
creating (for each user) a demeter folder in their %appdata% enables the log file to be written and the program to run.

for my windows 7  home pc this appears to be uesername/appdata/roaming
