Hi Alessandro,

It is really hard to understand this problem without an example.
Could you prepare a *small and simple* example of a artemis project
file which displays this misbehavior and also let us know something
about the computer and artemis version you are using.

PPS: Scott's example of analyzing ZnO prepared in the form of a series
of artemis project files is distributed with the software.  Look in
the examples/Artemis folder in the location where Ifeffit is installed
(Windows) or the tarball is unpacked (not Windows).
