Hmmm... I really cannot imagine a situation where you actually need to
save more than -2 groups to an output file.  I think you are just
being picky!

I see the problem.  It's a silly bug.

I have a bunch of other small problems that have cropped up in the
latest tarball.  I am actually hoping to release a new one before the
end of the day with this and a few other bug fixes.
