Yes, and it would be helpful.  I spent a solid half hour staring at an
Artemis log file today figuring out what I explained in my last
email.  In the end, I think it would be useful to be able to select a
path as the one whose index path_index is set to after a fit
finishes.  That would clarify how the def parameters are reported by
Artemis after a fit -- which is currently confusing, as I discovered
today.
