[Ifeffit] trouble, trouble, trouble

Hi folks,

The release I made yesterday seems to be the buggiest one I have
released in quite some time.  I have been getting lots of reports of
problems with the latest source code tarball.  Sigh.

I am working on a new release -- hopefully things will be looking
better on Monday.  If anyone needs a copy of the previous release,
you can grab it at
