6.1 Create directory for data on the T: drive

This is the first you’ll have to do before starting your run.  You can use either leBaron or Beetle to do this.  Our data file structure is as shown below:

A typical directory structure along the following path:

T:/lvp_user/data/beamline/yyyy/mmyy/Institute/Pnnnn

where beamline iseither 13-BM-D or 13-ID-D, yyyy is the year the experiments are carried out (e.g., 2002), motyy is a month-year combination (e.g., Feb02), Institute is a short form name of your institute, Pnnnn is the folder name for the current experiment you are conducting; P = T (for Tcup) or D (for DIA), and nnnn is the sequence number of your run.  This number is continuous from the previous LVP run, regardless who did that experiment and where.  For example, someone may have finished an LVP experiment at 13-ID-D using the T-25 and the run number is 0246 (data in folder T0246) under 13-ID-D, and your run is going to be in 13-BM-D using the DIA.  As long you are right after T0246, your run will be D0247.
