Dear Feffusers,

 The FEFF8.2 executable that can be downloaded from the FEFF www pages was
compiled on a G4 with Absoft. It's not clear why your machine is
recalcitrant (?) - possibly memory (??).  In any case, the FEFF project
can supply Mac executables for users who have problems compiling.
