dear John for information and because I think it is very nice:we got recently very good data for Na2O (it is not evident because the powder is not stable and produce some carbonate in air). This one was produced in situ in a UHV chamber. You will find as an attached doocument a comparison experiment/ feff8 calculation with Hedin Lundqvist potentiels. Hope you can read my file.
What do you think??.. we did also the serie NaCl, NaI, NaBr, NaF and got also very nice results. Encouraging..
