Hi John,

I just thought about something related to the amplitude problem.

I don't know if it's correct or if my brain has left the building forthe long weekend.

What is the expected polarization effect on an oriented fcc latticemeasured at the L3 edge?

Something tells me that the first shell N could be lower than 12.

Even with a distribution of fcc orientations, might we expect to seelower coordination numbers?

Just a thought.
