I posted a msg to feffdevel with more details; we've been chasing
this "bug" for a few days; I'll send a copy separately.

Yep! Thus we compile with the -dp compile option so all double precision
statements in the code should be interpreted as cray-single precision to maintain
the same level of precision.

We're running on killeen at NERSC where they are extremely
security conscious. Thus both Jim Sims and I have separate accounts
which are a pain to setup, so I can't instantly get you access.
But I'd be happy to run some tests.
Are there wrpadr and wrpadc utilities analogous to rdpadr and rdpadc?
If so, perhaps they could be substituted (?) and rdpadr and rdpadc used instead.
Thanks for thinking about this.
Cheers,
