Since you really meant to send that to feffdevel, I've repeated
the message in the hope that it may be archived.

Either Bruce or I wrote it and that we both probably altered it at
some point.  I think maybe I altered it last -- I remember some
trouble with trying to remove '!' comments from include files and
deciding it could not easily be done in a foolproof manner.

I don't think Uninclude was intended as a file to distribute at the
time -- then again neither was Zabinsky's noinc.  I'm sure there is
room for trouble with 'Uninclude' (recursive includes, reliance on
perl).  The question of what sort of Build mechanism to use for the
distributed Feff code has not been considered seriously.

What is the the problem Francois is having?  Doesn't the HP fortran
compiler support 'include's?
