Dear colleagues,

Please register HERE for the 2024 Mineral Physics Research in Progress Meeting. Registration closes on the 5th of July!

The meeting will take place at the Department of Earth Sciences, University College London, on the 18th and 19th of July.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together post-graduate and post-doctoral researchers from all areas of high-pressure mineralogy & crystallography, mineral magnetism, molecular crystallography, computational mineral physics, geophysics, and planetary science to encourage the development of collaborations and sharing of results from recent research.

Invited Speakers:

1. Miriam Peņa Alvarez (School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Edinburgh)
2. John Brodholt (University College London)
3. Hauke Marquardt (University of Oxford)
4. Evie Baker (University of Oxford)

Financial support for travel and subsistence is available through our Travel Bursary Scheme (https://www.minersoc.org/mpg-bursaries.html) and you can request relatively inexpensive accommodation in the UCL Halls of Residence.
