In this ERC-funded project we will measure the density of silicate glasses at high pressure in a diamond anvil cell using all-optical techniques. We are looking now for a postdoc to kick-off the project.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in geosciences or related field, experience with diamond anvil cells, optical spectroscopy, and a strong interest in mineral/melt physics and experimental work.

Application deadline is 18th February, 2024. 

Start date: 1st June, 2024.
