Dear colleagues,

You're invited to contribute to the session Tectonophysics - T004: “Deciphering Fault Slip Dynamics and Earthquake Nucleation Mechanisms in Shallow Crustal Settings through a Physicochemical Perspective ”
https://agu.confex.com/agu/agu25/prelim.cgi/Session/250202, at the upcoming AGU25, which will take place in New Orleans, LA from 15-19 December.

The session theme covers both practical and theoretical advances in the comprehension of fault slip dynamics in shallow crustal settings through geochemical and mineralogical analyses of the fault zones as well as measurement of fault slip rate using structural, geomorphological, paleoseismological, geodetic and geochronological methods.

The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, 30 July 2025, 23:59 EDT/03:59 UTC

Attached is a flyer with session details and a QR code to link to for abstract submission (If the QR code doesn't work, go to the above link.)

We look forward to meeting you in New Orleans, physically or virtually.
The young Researchers can apply for the exciting Student Travel grants.

Best regards,
