I did Comment the line out with a # mark. It still didn't work. The new

I am mostly certain that this is a DLL collision problem quite similar to what is described here:
http://cars9.uchicago.edu/ifeffit/Demeter/MingwFix
However, this does not happen on any of the Windows machines I have access to. Until someone can suggest to me a way of replicating this problem on one my own computers, I have no way of investigating the problem.
