Sorry for the trouble. We saw this too and it is now fixed in the latest version.
It looks like the installation worked well enough that the “Update Larch” shortcut in the Larch desktop folder should run without having to re-install everything.
I just updated the installers, but I bet you don’t need to do a full re-install, and the updater should be much faster.
I think this should work (Mapviewer runs for me!), but let me know if you have any troubles.

I was hoping to get some help accessing the XRFMap viewer on my computer. I downloaded Larch for Windows from the binary installer and was able to get the folder with all the software onto my computer.
However,
when I try to open the XRFMap viewer the only thing that pops up is a terminal with a error message.

Then it closes and nothing happens. Would y'all happen to know what's going on and how I can fix it? I am trying to fix up the maps I have collected from NSLS-II. Thank you!
