Ganesh --
I think the error message is the same because the problem is the same: gnuplot.exe is not being found in the PATH. And, indeed, C:\strawberry\c\bin\gnuplot\bin is not in the PATH used when running dartemis.bat. The message is telling you that it needs to be.
I believe that the Demeter batch scripts (dartemis.bat, etc) inherit the system-wide PATH variable, and do not explicitly set the PATH. This is probably why the log file shows several MATLAB folders in your PATH -- this could also cause problems, such as finding the wrong version of some DLL. I know I've run into problems with path confusion when multiple versions of perl are installed on a Windows machine. If the batch scripts explicitly set the path to be exactly (and only) what is needed to run the programs, it might better avoid such problems. I don't quite understand how the batch files are created in Demeter's build system.
But, coming back to your immediate issue: try making sure your PATH does include C:\strawberry\c\bin\gnuplot\bin.

Dear Bruce and Matt,
My first guess is that the culprit is anti-virus software running on
Ganesh's computer. I have seen other examples of parts of Demeter being
falsely identified as problematic and being removed, rendering the
Demeter programs unusable.
That said, on Ganesh's computer, the gnuplot executable should be in
C:\strawberry\c\bin\gnuplot\binYes - I can locate it exactly at this path and the executable file does open from there.
There are some other conceivable ways to see this problem, but I am
placing my first bet on over-aggressive anti-virus software.
I did have McAfee. I uninstalled the program and restarted my computer and the problem still persists. It seems very much the same, im posting the most recent log-file.
