Dear Tien,

The difference is that the two spectra were measured in different modes: transmission mode (ln(I0/It)) vs fluorescent mode (If/Io).
Regarding the spectrum provided by your colleague, the jump step is quite low. Also the measured intensity is much larger than that of the white line, which may have caused your Lytle detector overloaded.
