Thanks for the quick reply.  I believe this is an artifact because I was zooming and playing with the window values to compare Athena and Larch on my small laptop screen.  Below are two ss of the same plot before and after zooming to ~ 0 - 6 A and then expanding the window with my mouse.  It reproduces the extra tick values for 2 and 0 on the mag axis.
