Dear colleagues,

This is a final reminder to register for the workshop:

Advances in synchrotron-based research towards understanding the structure, evolution, and dynamics of Earth and planetary interiors. August 31 – September 2, 2021.

The registration deadline is August 24th, 2021. Please click here to register.

Only registered participants will be allowed to attend the workshop.

Details and tentative agenda are available now at the workshop website:

The main goal of the workshop is to discuss future developments of synchrotron-based technologies and capabilities that will boost the high-pressure geoscience research. Contribution from each of you is very important.

So please make sure that you do your part and attend the workshop to represent your field!

Thanks to our sponsor, https://lightsources.org/, we have two prizes that will be awarded to most active young scientists and for most attention-grabbing and/or proactive question.

We are conducting a pre-workshop survey to help prepare for the round table discussion. The survey is completely anonymous. Please respond.

Your inputs are important regardless of whether you are a current user at U.S. synchrotron facilities.

Click here for survey that will take only 5-10 minutes.

Workshop Organizers are:

Vitali Prakapenka and Yanbin Wang (GSECARS/Univ. Chicago)

Donald Weidner (Stony Brook University)

Quentin Williams (University of California Santa Cruz)

Anat Shahar (The Carnegie Institution for Science)
