Onsite-Users :
*** Based on the most recent CDC guidance, while onsite all individuals regardless of vaccination
status are required to wear masks and must maintain a minimum of six feet distance from others. External users should be prepared to show proof of vaccination.

● All onsite users must be registered APS users, have approved ANL site access and have taken all
required APS safety training. ONLY TWO USERS ARE ALLOWED ONSITE TO RUN THE EXPERIMENT.

● Submit an Onsite User Request Form a minimum of TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO START OF BEAMTIME.

Your ESAF will be approved by APS when the Onsite User Request has been approved. Submit both forms
several weeks prior to your beamtime.
Remote Users:
All remote users must be registered APS users, have approved ANL site access and have taken required
APS safety course ESH223.

Contacting beamline staff prior to beamtime is required.
● Samples should be sent to your primary beamline contact at least ONE WEEK ahead of scheduled beamtime.
Please send the shipment tracking number to your beamline host. Samples must be received in a “ready to be analyzed” state. GSECARS staff will not prepare samples for analysis beyond mounting the sample.
